DODGE COUNTY MOVES TO PHASE TWO OF SAFE RESTART PLAN What’s this means for the library? Starting Monday March 1st.At this time what can I do: Our hours will remain the same Monday-Thursday 12:30-6:30pm, Friday 12:30- 4pm1 person or one pod(family or people who live together )may enter at a time to meet our capacity .Follow signage on door: Green means Come on In. Red means please wait until we can provide safe service to you and your family after the person inside leaves. Enter building with a mask on. Browse for 15 minutes time limit and check out items. Please follow Social Distancing, hand washing, and mask wearing in the building. All items being returned must be put in outside book drop or cart in the vestibule. All items returned to the book drop are quarantined for 48hrs .Use computer for 1 hour. NO extra time will be provided. We have new people: Margaret works Wednesdays, Donna works Thursdays. Jackie and Mary Alice have the same days.

Magazines now available in Wisconsin’s Digital LibraryDue to a cooperative purchase by a few WI systems and libraries, magazines have been added to Wisconsin’s Digital Library for the whole state to enjoy!The collection includes over 3,000 titles. Welcome February in with an Craft. February 1-5th.

We will have grab and go packs ready for you to create a sea glass mobile/sun catcher. This project is meant for 13 years and older due to small parts. They will be available during Curbside Hours. Monday-Thursday 12:30-6:30pm and Friday 12:30-4pm

SCHOOL DISTRICT OF LOMIRA 4 YEAR OLD and 5 YEAR OLD KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION

**Children currently enrolled in our 4K program do not need to register for 5K**

Call Tami at 920-488-2181 to receive your registration papers.

Plan to stop at the TLC office with your child’s birth certificate, proof of address and to return registration papers on one of the following days:

February 10,11,12   10:00am—2:00pm

February 15   4:00pm—6:30pm  (no school)

February 16   7:00am—10:00am   (no school)

There will be a 4K or 5K packet to pick up with more information!

Care Kits for Aging/Disability/Dementia

Theresa Public Library has a variety of Care Kits for Aging/Disability/Dementia available for checkout.
This is a great resource for caregivers, relatives and friends of those affected with dementia and other
cognitive disabilities. Kits can be checked out for 28 days. Each kit includes a resource folder.
A list of the kits and their contents are shown below as well as in the “Seniors” tab on our website.

Kit #1 – Book, Tools, Resource Folder
This kit contains the book “My Two Elaines” by Martin J. Schreiber and a variety of tools.
Tools include a pouch with push button ball, netted squeeze ball, blue stretch tube, 2 rattle eggs,
8-cube bendable object, 3 mesh pouches with marble, pea pod object.
Kit #2 – Puzzles, Bingo Game, Resource Folder
This kit contains two Mindstart Puzzles: a 24-piece Winter Puzzle with large pieces and a 12-piece Flower Puzzle with extra large pieces. The Rainbow Bingo Game consists of a user guide to play High, Middle and Low Ability Level Games, 7 large cards (4 high and 3 middle level), 20 bingo calling cards, 15 each of red, yellow, blue, green, black chips, and 59 black marking pawns.
Kit #3 – Puzzles, Card Game, Resource Folder
This kit contains two Mindstart Puzzles: a 24-piece Baseball Puzzle with large pieces and a 12-piece Sports Ball Puzzle with extra large pieces. The Numbers and Suits Card Game includes instructions for Higher and Lower Ability Group Play and Individual Play options. This 55 card set includes 4 cards each of 1-9 and of club, spade, diamond, and heart, and 3 instruction cards.
Kit #4 – Puzzle, Card Game, Word Search Binder, Resource Folder
This kit contains a Word Search Binder with Marker, a Mindstart Fishing Puzzle with 24 large pieces, and the Image Snap Card Game. The game has 36 cards (4 theme cards and 32 image cards), across the topics of Transport, Food, Animals and Tools. The aim is to connect relevant images to encourage new associations and stimulate the brain.
Kit #5 – Puzzle, Board Game, Resource Folder
This kit contains a Mindstart Raking Puzzle with 63 large pieces, and a Snakes & Ladders Board Game.
This engaging game appeals to all ages. Large counters and a color-contrast board enable those with impaired vision to enjoy playing. Dice cards are used instead of traditional dice to make the game easier to play.
Kit #6 – Game, Activity Set, Word Search Binder, Resource Folder
This kit contains Word Search Binder with Marker, On the Dot Brain Teaser Game, and Look & Lace Activity Set. Items can be used individually or in a group. The Activity Set has instructions for high, middle and low ability levels. It includes 4 lacing cards and 4 laces. The cards can be used for guessing games, conversation starters, as well as lacing activities.
Kit #7 – Activity Set, Bingo Game, Resource Folder
This kit contains a Match the Shapes Activity Set, and Animal Bingo. The Shapes Activity Set is similar to dominoes, with instructions for a variety of activities at various levels. The contents include 4 bags of tiles (36 total), 5 quarter page templates, 1 half page template, and instructions. The Animal Bingo Audio Game is an engaging intergenerational activity for people in mid to late stage dementia. This is a fun bingo game, designed so people of all ages and abilities can play together. The box includes a Flip Book with Instructions, an Animal Sounds CD, 8 Bingo Cards, 92 Counters in a Red Sack, and one Bingo Caller Card.
