Theresa Public Library ADDS LIBRARY CONTENT STREAMING SERVICE, HOOPLA DIGITAL
With hoopla digital, Theresa Public Library Patrons can now Instantly Read, Watch, and Listen to their choice of more than 850,000 titles, For Free with their Library Card.
Theresa Public Library will “Go Live” August 16th with Hoopla! – The popular on-demand film streaming can access over 850,000 titles (audiobooks, eBooks, comics, music, movies and TV).Content can be streamed from any computer, television, mobile device or platform by downloading the hoopla digital app for iOS, Android, AppleTV, Chromecast or Roku. This service is available free of charge for Theresa Public Library card holders. This service is currently funded by the Nelson and Vera Hick’s Foundation Grant.
Hoopla digital has pioneered a unique model that allows patrons to borrow content immediately, removing artificial availability constraints and maximizing the power of digital content and Internet distribution. Technologically, hoopla digital focuses on the latest browser, phone, tablet, and TV products to deliver the best possible experience to each user – the public library patron.
The Theresa Public Library Staff and Library Board are very excited to be able to offer this service and feels it is an important step in providing our patrons with current titles and technology.
